Baja owners that ride...

Post by Zooom »

I know there has got to be more than a sparse 1 or 2...

I am a Ducati street and track rider as well as a BAJA owner.

I use my Baja to tow my bike trailer to the track to run the piss out of my track bike ( a 98 Ducati Monster 900 ). I also used it to pick up my newest street bike ( a 99 Cagiva Gran Canyon ), which goes nicely with my other street ride (an 01 Ducati Monster 900ie ). So I have a trio of 900's in my garage that I enjoy as much as my Subie, but on a different playing field of purpose.

who else here rides and what do you ride?

Had lots of bikes over the years. I currently have a Kawasaki Z750S and my wife has a Ninja 650. I actually manage the parts department of a Kawasaki/Yamaha dealership.

Another rider here! I am an instructor for Take It 2 The Track (TI2TT.com) , a trackday company in CA. I put about 20,000 miles of track time in on my '03 R6 last year, including some WSMC races. I built a carrier and put the R6 in the back of the Baja, it's the perfect trackday vehicle!!!

Probably not what you meant, but I have a Husqvarna 600WMX dirt bike. I used to ride that thing EVERYWHERE. We've moved a few times in the past few years, so I haven't ridden it enough to make much difference. Sure wish I had a little more time and spare cash.

i so want an interceptor but the wife filter is in full effect, so i'm lucky to have what i have. which is a 1994 Honda Pacific Coast( the red-headed step child of the honda line). high on practical low on sex appeal. anyway before we had our son my wife rode a 1978 400a hondamatic which i've been restoring (for sale i guess). although i want an interceptor my next and final bike would have to be a kawasaki mean streak.

I ride a 91 ST1100 as my main bike. I also have a 76 CB400F, a 04 Ural Troyka sidecar rig, and the wife's 74 CB125S.

Hawk296, I love your bike. That is what I'm looking to replace my ST1100 with.

Speedymatt, I had a 96 Pacific Coast that I sold when I got my ST. I still miss the trunk.

You have a Ural!?? That's so cool. How is that thing? Is it reliable? I will admit, I have looked at one curiously but they are pretty pricey for something that looks as though it should be steam powered. Lets see some pics!

My cousin had an ST1100 years ago and that was a great bike!

Have a 2003 Suzuki Intruder 1400 that I picked up in April and two Kawasaki KZ400's (1977 and 1979) in the garage to get running.
