I currently have a 99 Legacy OB. If I remember correctly, the spark
plugs are quite annoying to change, due to the angle of the fenders. Compare this to my wife's 2002 OB (4-cyl), where the plugs are at an easier angle.
Do I remember this correctly? Any other input?
The good news is, I am highly considering trading in the 1999 OB Ltd for
a 2006 Baja (NA).

is the 99 a DOHC or SOHC engine? I forget which year the legacys switched over to SOHC. the SoHC are easier to change because you can get to them from the top and are at an angle. The DOHC engines are a pain becaus eyou have to go straigh in from the center of the valve cover with only about an inch of clearance between the fender.
