Newbie in Colo....a question regarding synthetic conversion

Post by BahaRishi Steve »

New to the forum....just chiming in with a hello....oh, and a question, of course!

Recently purchased an '05 Baja T and absolutely love this "truck". I have a tough time calling it a truck, as I've had primarily full-sized trucks for quite a few years. My trade in was a Nissan Titan Crewcab....so quite an adjustment for me!

I usually convert all fluids over to full synth as soon as possible, so my question is regarding the recommended mileage for switching from dino to synth for the crank case. What do you all recommend....at least 1000 miles? Any known issues with use of full synth in these boxer motors?

Also, any recommendations for diff, AT, etc?

Thanks, and I look forward to becoming a contributor here!
