Just a question about the K&N air filter. I had read somewhere and found it again on another website that using a K&N filter will cause problems. Mainly the oil from the filter will get the MAF sensor dirty. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else or is this just an isolated incident?

I've heard the oil killing the MAF story a lot from WRX owners. To that end I have never upgraded my intake on the WRX. I suppose it all depends on how far downstream from the cone the MAF sensor is, though.
