Hood release cable

Hi,

My hood release cable has fallen apart, disintegrated, and I can no longer open the hood by pulling the handle in the passenger compartment. Does anyone know of a part similar to Subaru 57330AE00AOA that will fit? I can get the hood open by using a long screwdriver to activated the latch, but need to replace the cable.

Should be the exact same part/assembly off a 00-04 Legacy or Outback.
Should be able to also find said cable by the foot at your local hardware store.

Yes. It is the same part number, except for color as the Outback/Legacy. I think I will remove the current cable, measure it, and try to find a Dorman equivalent.
