SUBARU BRAT GEN 1 1979

Hello,
I have a question about how the brake system for the generation 1 Subaru brat works overall. Also, my reservoir tank for the brake master cylinder needs to be replaced because a rodent chewed through the plastic tank. I'm having a difficult time finding the original tank to replace this. I've come across a couple generation 2 tanks, that have 2 ports going into it just like the original, but the original has two separate tanks. Any thoughts on fitment if I were to install the tank from generation 2 that has the larger single tank? Thank you for your time. -SubaruShermz
