Post by cliffhanger »

im thinkin about getting a new set of rims/tires for my baja, just wondering a few things -- i dont know anything about offset or tire width, and wanted to get some 17x7 offset 50mm rims and 255/50WR17 tires, will these be possible on our cars? can someone give me a tutorial....

I am running after market rims right now so here are the specs. tires are 225/55-17 on a 17x7.5 wide rim with a 48mm positive offset and 5 bolts on 100mm bolt circle. I'm not sure if you can go to 255 without rubbing the fenders especially when turning. Ill see if I can find that handy tire size calc link for you. (found it - http://ejelta.com/tiresize/index.html

Linky fixed - bracket got tacked on by accident

Looks like a 245/50-17 may be the way to go if it will fit.
