Considering Lowering 03 Baja

Post by 03ScoobyTruck »

Right now my rear shocks are bad on the Baja. Considering getting a set of Rev9 HyperStreet 2 coilovers. Has anyone used these before, and how was the ride quality. I want to have the same as stock or better ride quality while getting the looks of lowering a little bit. Just looking for some advice/review on these or a set of another lowering kit, or just keep it stock height and replace with oem struts.

You could replace with a set of Legacy struts for the desired look too, but less drop than coilovers. You'll need to remove the puck spacers on the subframe no matter which way you go.. Coilovers would be great. Find set with great reviews for our Subies, and you should be set! Install will be identical to Outback of same gen, and not far off from Gen 3 Outback (Gen 4 Legacy.) Something about lowered Baja's looks so good!
