Oops. I never saw this reply.

The 5mt is the manual. Every new car I have bought has been a manual. I insist. :)

well, I brought home my new (to me) skydiving rig yesterday, and got to fly her (SWEET!!!!). It is a Sabre-2 150 Main in a Javelin Odessey(sp?) container, smart-147 reserve. She just got re-lined with 525 spectra lines, which oughtta be good for a while, and jumps really tight with a super powerful flare. Definitely a lot more responsive than the Hornet-170 I was flying before!

Hello everybody!
I traded in my '05 WRX STI last month and picked up my '04 Baja Sport. In searching for any and all after-market parts I could find, I came across the Scoobytruck site and I just had to sign up.

I'm doing ok. Felt good to put some miles on the Baja this weekend. I live, work and play all within about 5 miles, so taking a small trip and putting 200 miles in it felt good.

bought some new powerblocks yesterday. They will either get in today (if in stock at the Fitness Resource warehouse) or next wednesday. I'm real excited and can't weight (haha) to start lifting with these. The on display set was pretty nice, and I have been slacking off for the last two weeks on working out. This ought to get my mojo running again!

Im starting to be annoyed by several friends of mine, and more than a couple of my neighbors. I use my skills to help somebody out who wouldnt normally be able to afford the work....word gets around and people start pestering me all the time to turn wrenches, weld something up...

Anybody else deal with that?

I thought that was the natural result of positive word-of-mouth.

Well yeah but, when a guy rolls up in a brand new truck, asking me to fix his old beater for free...that gets old.
Or when the only time a "friend" calls is for an auto repair...also old.

I like being able to help people in genuine need, but i dont like being used.
Im just venting...

Back to the off topic...
Goin to pick up a Borla cat/Y pipe for my crusty old 84 GL this week so i can get it to pass emissions. Kinda stoked about that. That old weberized 1.8 should really be able to breathe now! Might be pushing 85 horses or so! Woohoo!
