weight limit for the baja ?

i just put up a deck
i had 5-80lbs bags of cement loaded (400lbs)
the truck squated perty low
i didn't have far to go
but in my eyes this is not that much weight
(2 large people)
does anyone know the actual limit for the bed area ?

If the tailgate can hold 600 pounds then I would assume the bed can

Isnt the payload listed in the manual? or maybe on the door plate?

Just this last weekend, I had 575 lbs of pavers and at least another 100 lbs of Pergo floring in the back of my Baja. I did notice the load while driving - but it all seemed to work out well!

I figure load the hell out of it until the bumper drags on the road. I haven't had anything really heavy in mine, but I did pull my atv on a trailer, about 1300 lbs, and it didn't squat to much. Mike
