Am I suppose to read these at night. I know I got at least one burned out bulb behind the tachometer. Haven't pulled dash apart yet.

Yes.
My entire dash's light are piss poor & I'm going to replace them too once I find out what type of lights I need, what color, & work up the courage to pull the dash apart (I'm a klutz with car parts). I can't read my dash at all when it gets around sunset because the lights barely work even on max brightness.

Unfortunately my clock one goes on and off randomly. So I'm going to have to look for a short sometime.

Not necessarily a short. but a partially burned bulb.bajaguy wrote:Unfortunately my clock one goes on and off randomly. So I'm going to have to look for a short sometime.

They aren't LEDs, are they? I've never heard of a partially-burnt out incandescent bulb.

Maybe a loose connection or dirty contacts?
