if you have to put a cat on it look into eastern cats. my local subaru told me thats the way he'd go. it worked for mine i did the rear sensor. didnt work. so ended up going with the cat it was like 235 compaired to 1600.

a local muffler shop can install it for around 50 bucks or so.

i basically had to do all the stuff you said timing belt kit, head gasket,clutch, rear main,valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, tune up. labor was 500.
