but 3000 is a bit low, but keep in mind it could have some issues with it that the poster did not disclose, head gaskets for instance could be blown, a common problem with early 00 models. My first Baja only had 45,000 on it and I got it for 8500 at a dealer, thought it was a steal, until a few months down the road when I was told the head gaskets were blown. Some people just want to get rid of it fast on the other hand.
