PERFORMANCE / MAINTENANCE TUTORIALS

STI / WRX Intercooler swap: http://www.mainelysubarus.com/forums/to ... on-04-fxt/
Parts needed: STI tmic, STI Y pipe, STI or WRX Blow off valve, 48-48mm opening silicone elbow hose with 4" arms (if using td04), 2 bolts holding BOV to tmic (Baja-T tmic has studs you can't reuse), STI recirc hose (99071AC540 or 541). ** recommend WRX/STI mounting brackets, T-clamps for recirc and elbow hose, hack the stock baja splitter for better air to new intercooler, and grimspeed intercooler gaskets **
Up pipe: Pretty much all of them will work (direct bolt on). Just shop for 02-07 wrx/sti. Remember your PB blaster and at least a couple of socket extensions. *Be sure to buy new gaskets*
Down pipe: Same as above, most bolt up fine. May need to extend or warp bracket for trans mounting point or grind down remove firewall brace for good clearance. I personally had no issues with clearance on my cheapo ebay bell mouth down pipe for 02-07 wrx/sti.
Shifter bushings: "In "theory" all of the 5-sp subaru kits work. In reality, the front 2-piece is easy and the rear is a monster because it requires some serious force on the shifting rod that runs front-to-back to get the bolts in the rear shifter stay to line up at the appropriate angle. I used a crescent wrench to push up on the socket as I tried to get it started and eventually got it right. I'm never removing it again. Ever." ~DiscoGsus. Front / Rear Sway Bars: Whiteline BSF15 (Front swaybar) and BSR12XZ (Rear swaybar).

Re: Modification Tutorials & Links
I was looking for something around Spark plug replacement in a Turbo Baja. i did find this on Youtibe but not sure how close it matches or if there is better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAADvX1NLZo Also in the Hella light add on video and istrructions I see that the prewired stuff for activity lights was not used. Anyone ever done that and have any hints?

Mine is NA. That video is the same thing I did for plug replacement, less complicated on the cold air intake, though. I don't have coil packs on the plugs, so just twist to loosen then pull off. Before I pulled the plugs, I used compressed air to clear out the dust that was in the hole to keep anything out of the cylinders. May not be needed, but I haven't had it long. I always use anti seize lube on plugs.
I also replaced the plug wires while I was there.
I haven't added lights yet.
