Just picked up an '06 Turbo and have a question about the leather package. My car is an automatic with SportShift and has the full leather interior. However the seats are not heated and the wheels are 5-spoke, the literature says that all leather cars have heated seats and 6-spoke wheels. has anyone ever run across this before?
Thanks
Another newbie question - 2006 leather package?

Re: Another newbie question - 2006 leather package?
When I was shopping for my 2005 Turbo with Leather I learned that the leather and the auto trans were options, but came standard with the leather package along with the 6 spoke alloys.
I was not able to find too many for sale or available. I only found 2 that I wanted. I missed the first one a 2006 red by 45 minutes so I took my second choice a white one with 61k on the speedo. Several other options were standard with the leather package. Try this link to see a break down of models and equipment.

Thanks, that explains it. The leather was also available separately. I would have preferred the heated seats, but when a pristine 2006 showed up locally I jumped on it.

You can always have the seat heaters added at a custom shop.
Actually, my 06 NA 5-speed Baja has aftermarket leather and heaters, though the shop could/would just have installed heaters if we wanted.

Judging from the appearance of the switches those are the same elements they installed when the did the leather on my Baja.
And if so, let me tell you they kick serious ass - much hotter than any OEM heaters we've had (including ones from Jeep, VW, Mini/BMW, or Scoobie).
