I bought 1040 Mobil 1 synthetic. I think it is environmentaly friendly (synthetic < spelling) is slicker and last longer. and the 1040 weight might be good for my cold weather (Chicago)

What do you think?

the manual and the filler cap both say 5W30, and the interval is every 3K. due to the DC area not necessarily being the super hot or the super cold, I have stuck to using good ole fashioned regular dino oil of the Castrol variety. The harsher the circumstance of usage of your vehicle, then you adjust as you feel appropriate.
