I've just bought a 2003 Baja with 100K on it and it is still rides and handle excellent. I've since put on about 3000 miles and Loving the ride and the gas mileage it gets. This thing rides excellent on the interstate with no other abnormal noise or rattle. My only wish to change at the moment are ride height increase and better stereo/subwoofer. So I would like to start with raising the ride height of this 03 Baja.
My goal is to see about 1.5 to 2 inches raised from its current height without suffering any ride quality/handling. Can I just swap in four new taller springs ??? If so, please respond which one and whether or not you've done it or know of one who has. Ride quality is my most concern. Please let me know. Many thanks.....
I call them and they indicated that the front springs are SOLD OUT. So no go. I read here that I can just buy the 05 springs and put them on my 03 to raise it by 1.5 extra inch. If that is the case, it is very likely what I'll be doing since fronts are $38 each and rear are $39 each. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
