Where is the thermostat located? anyone have pics or diagrams?

The thermostat is located on the bottom of the engine. The lower coolant hose hooks onto the engine at the thermostat housing. Take that off and there's the thermostat.

P.S. If you don't drain the cooling system prior to removing the thermostat, you'll drain it as soon as you do.
