New here; just saying hi to everyone and figured I'd add to this post:
I'm in the mountains of NC and I'm getting about 19 mpg running around town. 2005 Turbo AT.
I take life like a duck; calm and collective on the surface, paddling like heck underneath

Drove a few hundred miles this last week. Up into the mountains I got 24 mpg, back down I got 25. These were definitely consisting of lots of ups and downs but overall, this is some of the best mileage yet for me! 05 N/A auto.

have had my 05 Turbo a/t for a month now.

On long highway trips I'm getting an honest 26mpg. Only running it on 92 octane, and with the "summer blend (ethanol costs me 10% in my other vehicles in the past, so I'll revisit mileage when CA starts up with the "winter blend" again, unless the ethanol debate is finally "settled".

In town, my commute is mix hwy and start/stop/street. No significant hills, getting 22 mpg.

A lot better than my old Tacoma which got me 19 hwy and 17 city.

all highway trip up to Pittsburgh this past weekend, so there were some hills. Got 23mpg babying as much as I could (70-75 for the most part). Driving any slower would cause me to to go insane.

I drive a lot of short trips, stop lights, etc. I tend to get around 22mpg on my 05 NA manual. I dont usually take it that easy, but I will coast to as many red lights as I can. I also dont speed, just the speed limit.

Usually i run 85 octane, with 35 PSI in the tires. No other mods other than a simple K&N drop in. Full tank of all highway Im in the 25-26 range.

I usually get 26 to 29 in my 05 N/A. I drive mostly highway, 55-60mph. If I put that crappy ethanol in the mileage will drop to around 23-24. I run my tires at 32 psi. I had them at 33 psi, got better mileage, but the center of the tires were wearing down faster than the outside edges.

New owner of a used Baja. I have owned this for 3 months.
2004 Baja turbo. Auto. 135k miles.
No engine mods but the previous owner put 1-size smaller tires on it than stock. He fitted a good quality Cooper highway tire in size 205/55/r16 (OEM size was 215, right?). I run premium fuel and drive easy-to-modest around town. My low mpg was 19, but I consistently get 20.5-21 mpg usually and that's not much highway driving at all. When I brought it to Atlanta from N TN on all-highway I got 24 mpg.
Wish I could score the non-turbo numbers OR at least use regular fuel! But I do love how she hauls above 3,000rpm :)

2005 turbo 120K gas 92 octane
driving style: moderate to aggressive
mileage type (city/highway): mixed (40%/60%) bumper to bumper
mods of note: muffler fell off I just extended the pipe so it cleared the rear bumper

I was getting 20 -21 MPG but now I'm only getting 17 ish and thats if I drive like an old lady

any ideas why or how to get mpg up - is it the lack of a muffler ?

2003 NA 5 spd 235,000 km on the clock.

Over the last 3 tanks I get a consistent 10 l/100km = 23.5 MPG
Better than I was expecting coming from a Honda Civic to a Baja

2006, NA, Automatic, mountain driving and plains driving, 143,000 miles, 91 octane got me 28mpg. I'll be doing some experimenting. I have a source for 88 octane with no ethanol that usually does better in my other cars. I'll see how that does.

I had been getting 22-24mpg. However, after the head gasket repair (including timing chain, pulleys, tensioner, water pump) the first tank returned a bit over 27mpg. Hmmm.... not sure why but it sure is running great now. Maybe the cam timing was sloppy with the old chain and tensioner?
