I'm 6'5" and just bought an '05 Baja. It seems to be a great fit...not problems as long as the seat is slid all the way back. I agree that the sunroof makes it feel less claustrophobic.

Since we're replying to this basically dead thread:
The issue is with the passenger side. The floor of any 2nd-gen or newer Legacy (don't know about the Impreza/Forester platform nor about the very newest Legacy) is REALLY close to the seat. I don't know anyone over ~5 feet 8 inches that doesn't want to move the seat back further than it will go. The rest is just fine for over-6-footers.

I am 6'4"
I find the Baja a bit short on leg room and on head room.
I have to get in just right or my leg hits the wheel as I get in but now I know how it is not an issue.
My head hits the sun roof with the seat up the way I prefer it to be so I must recline it a bit. So I too would like to give up the sun roof but that is not going to happen.
My legs require the seat to be all the way back.
Once in I adjust to it okay.
Still love to drive this thing. It is a kick
