any one know of a good skid plate
I need a new skid plate since South Carolina decided to claim mine. So I went on Rallitek and they didnt have any listed for the Baja. Any help from the scoobytruck community will be greatly appreciated.
Currently embracing the suck in Iraq -.-

Rallitek seems to be discontinuing a lot of products... doesn't make sense because your old cars have more wear and will need the replacement parts, I bought the SSI skid plate before they took it off there site, now I'm looking to get HD springs but they're gone.

Check out http://www.get-primitive.com/ *primitive motorsports*. They have very nice skid plates for both the front and rear of the Baja. Just click on the Skidplates and Underbody link. Then from the choice of Subarus choose BAJA!
ta da! and they have a few different flavors too. GOOD LUCK
I plan on getting front and rear skids by next summer.

Re: any one know of a good skid plate
Rallitek has discontinued there Baja Skidplate (and HD rear springs) because they weren't popular... they'll do group runs of some stuff 20-25 pieces.
Anyone want to go on a group buy of HD Springs

I think I"ll stick with Primitive. I have seen a few of their skidplates on a couple of semi-local Imprezas. Good quality work. That's one thing I hope to have just before or after winter is a front and rear skid plate.

Re: any one know of a good skid plate
I have a primitive skidplate but have yet to install it.
Re: any one know of a good skid plate
I plan to get the front and rear skid plates from Primitive in the next couple weeks. They also have King springs that should gain me another inch of clearance. All of those will be VERY welcome as I really don't like bottoming out on the forest roads.

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier.
I have the front and rear primitive skidplates. The front fir perfectly, but I had to pound a dent in it for the fumoto valve I installed. They're both well scratched.
I would get the tranny plate, but it's for AT and I'm not sure it would fit my MT.
