Replacing passanger fender/flare...

Post by BAJAMediC »

hey guys i just repainted a fender for my baja and i cannot find the order of operations on ow to put on the fender/flare.....

in other words...

i got the fender smashed up... but the flare got ripped off... and is in 100% perfect shape(whew!) now when i rip off the old fender and replace it with the new one.. should i place the new flare on 1st or can I do it after the metal fender is installed.... ALSO does anyone know where i can buy the replacement plastic clips that go between the plastic flare and the metal fender... every subaru dealership in the area is out... and websites aren't calling me back.... grrrrrrr

I found that ?Jon? at Renton Subaru in Washington to be helpful on a few body repair detail parts. I think their website may be 1stsubaruparts. Their shipping is high for small parts but, if you call, they will work with you

replaced the flare, it was a 100% success, i found out that there isnt much difference in the plastic clips that are scattered around the whole car, it was easy..... now my car looks better YAY
