Sunroof open=lots of noise?!

hey guys i was wondering how i can reduce the noise when i have my sunroof open on my baja? it's extremely loud i can barely even hear the radio...would a shield quiet the noise? any help is appreciated

Two things you can try - pull off the roof racks if you are not using them and make sure the factory air deflector is poping up fully. If it sticks down you wind up with a wierd drumming noise.

I agree with both of those items. I removed my crossbows, as no matter where I had them on the roof, they made alot of noise. When I first got the Baja, the deflector would stick down, and then you got all kinds of weird noises. I solved that one by putting on the plastic factory sunroof deflector. Now sounds alot better, and when I open up the roof, the factory deflector still stays down until a jolt in the road makes it pop up.
