All this stop and go heavy traffic/city driving, combined with my fast corering has worn my front brake pads and tires.
My stock Potenzas were starting to show signs of wear around 34K miles. I asked about the General Grabber AT, as several in this forum have recommended, but the place I went did not have General tires. The mechanic recommended Sigma Regent Touring HR 225/R16 and I could not be happier.
They have an agressive all season tread, and are 60,000 mile rated tires. I think they were $120 each or something like that. The Sigmas are great, and the best part is they don't have the white lettering, which I found impossible to keep white on the Potenzas.

OOPS! My Bad, I was checking for the second number, you are right! They are 225/60R16....cliffhanger wrote:what is the sidewall height? that is the second number, it is a percentage of the first number i.e. 225/60-16 is a 16" tire, 225 mm wide and 60% of 225mm sidewall height, => 135 mm sidewall height.
