Anyone know of a device that will add wig wag lights to my car?

I hope I am not alone asking this.... but what are wig wag lights? :?

wigwag lights are founf on cop cars, they make you head lights flash

Are these even legal in the USA (I hope not personally) I have a modulated headlight on my motorcycle because it helps people see me and stops them from running into me (AGAIN). If they start doing this on cars then people will start ignoring it and I'll be back to square one.

I wondered about that too. I believe that with strobe lights, it is for show purposes only, and I can only imagine the same applies to the wig-wag lights, but I'm not sure. I find it hard to believe you can actually drive around with them, but it will probably look pretty cool.

My understanding is that wig-wags (& strobes) are illegal on private vechicles
(or at least the use of them on the road)

Only allowed in very specific situations
(maybe "Call" Firefighers and EMT/Paramedics)

Usually anyone that needs them for this use
already has a source to get them
(ie the other members of their department)
