Auto Trans Fluid?

Whats the best or OEM Auto trans fluid to use? Or what i should say is what do u guys use in yr trucks? Just making sure also its 4q of trans fluid wit just dropping and refilling right?? Sorry for the newbie ?

Use whatever the owners manual tells you to use. I think it was Dexron3/Mercon, which is available all over. I used Pennzoil trans fluid the last time I did mine. I think it was about 4 qts. You should change the filter also, its a simple screw on type on the drivers side of the trans. So you don't have to drop the pan. Also, use a new washer on the drain plug. I didn't, and I don't have any leaks, but these are suppose to be used only once, so go to your dealer and get one. Mike
