Baja/Outback cladding.

Post by ratfink »

You know how sometimes you're just sitting around and a crazy idea pops into your head. I got one for you. Has anyone ever tried puting Baja cladding and bumper covers on a 2000-2004 Outback?? Sure would be a unique Outback. Don't hate me for even thinking such a thing. I know it would be a waste of perfectly good Baja parts. Like I said, Just popped into my head.

Not sure, but I have a 2002 Outback and 2003 Baja, so if there are any side-by-side photos or comparisons you want, or quick tests to perform (when it's not -30°C outside), I can help with that.

Hideyho, Thanks for the response. I'm not really gonna try it. It was just something that was floating around in my head one evening. Just wondered if anyone ever tried it. Sure would make a unique, one of a kind Outback if it worked. Might look like a Baja with a really tight fitting cap. You would also have to use a Baja roof rack. ( just thought of that ) . Just the ramblings of an old man stuck in the house on a cold winter evening. Happy Baja-ing to everyone out there. Ratfink.
