Ok, during a recent engine out job, I installed the Killer B Oil Pan, baffles, and pickup kit. I had read all about how this oil pan would increase my capacity and all that, so I bought an extra quart to go with my 5 quart jug. But.... when I filled it up initially, it read so far overfilled on my original dipstick, that I panicked and drained it back out.
I then filled it up according to the original dipstick, and it took less than 5 quarts.
After driving it for 3000 miles, I only got out about 3 quarts, including dumping the filter into the drain pan too.
I feel like I'm screwing this up.
I read about needing a different oil dipstick (from an 2006+ STi?) to go with this new Killer B pan; or making a new mark on the old dipstick.
Problem is, I can't seem to find any comparison between my dipstick and the 06+ Sti stick; or anyone mentioning how far above the old "full" mark, they made their new one?
I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm running around with too little oil in the thing, and it is stressing me out.
I can't find anything about our Baja turbos, specifically, regarding this specific situation.

Any advice would be appreciated.
