2003 PCV Diameter

I bought a Dorman 47239 PCV Check Valve for my 2003 Subaru Baja, but the diameter of the threaded portion is larger than the hole on the engine. The compatibility chart says it should fit, but it doesn’t. The Baja is a very stock 2003, no mods. Is my engine a one-off? Anyone known which valve I should get?
