This is golden info! I was beginning to wonder if it was something this simple! I'll look into this.anarchy1024 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 8:10 amBooo.... Might also be worth checking the handbrake switch to make sure it's not stuck on. Continuity check on the switch when it's unplugged, and voltage check when the car's on. Same with the brake fluid level switch.HalfNakedWalrus wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 2:14 pm Alright! Calipers, rotors, pads, AND brake fluid have all been replaced. Still have a brake light.
I'd think if the ABS had an issue it would trigger the ABS warning light, not the parking brake light, but alternator triggers the brake light, so anything is possible.

Uhhhh.....eh?!
Does the light turn off if the wire is disconnected from the chassis? If so, was that light on the whole time you had the truck, then? There should be a connector on the end that would go into the switch; is that gone, too?
I'm not aware of any differences in the hand brake setup between Baja years...

Just had clutch and head gaskets done. These lights are coming on sporadically for me now.
