Hi-Story Baja Model

The wife and I decided we would start collecting scale models of all the worthwhile vehicles we’ve each owned in our lives. The Baja posed a tough one to find. Researching on here, I found information on the Micro Machines and the DNA Collectibles versions. And they seem to be unobtanium. So digging around the Internet, I was led to eBay and ultimately got ahold of a new / unopened Hi-Story 1:43 scale version of the 2003 Baja!

I do wish it was silver like mine but it seemed black or yellow on silver appeared to be the only options. Pretty thrilled to have this in the collection now!

Anybody else have one?

My brother got me the DNA Collectibles one several years ago. My Baja is also silver, but I think the yellow-on-silver is more iconic. At least for me, it's the first colour scheme I think of. I need more shelves; everything feels a bit too cramped.

You’re right - the yellow is more iconic, I personally just don’t care for it. That’s not to say if someone wanted to dump a yellow Baja off in my driveway that I would be upset.
