Radio volume died after engine battery change

Post by SCOOTER »

Hello, can anybody help me? The battery on my Baja died. The engine battery had a 2 and a 1/2 year life. I don't use the car often. My problem is I changed the battery ........now. My radio light powers on OK can flip from station-to-station. But I turn the radio up to volume 40 I have no sound. Can anybody help me? Please? Thank you Mr. Saunders.

Could be a disconnect fom the radio to the speakers. Maybe there's a mute on? I haven't had the stock radio in a very long time.

Not much we can do to help you. You're going to have to pull the radio to test things. With it out you can check voltages, speaker in/out etc. at the plug.
