3.6 swap

Has anyone tried using a 3.6 engine swap into their Baja? From what i can tell it looks like its the same basic engine as the 3.0. Of course that would have to use the 3.0 computer and electronics from a compatible donor car.

No-one has put one into a baja yet. It won't run off an ez30d ecu, so you'll have to spend $2k for a standalone and $1-2k in tuning. If that doesn't deter you, there's a lot of knowlege on the Factory Five forums about swapping this engine (into a difference chassis) that would apply.

I put an ez30d into my Baja because you can get the engines for cheap, everything fits, and the wiring harness was not canbus. The ez30d ecu is tunable if you find a tuner willing to deal with it (such as west_minist on other forums).

My thinking was more of using the 3.0 heads and externals on the 3.6. Ive never really paid attention to the h6 engines so im not sure what would swap from one to the other.

What about making a stroker build on an ez30d?
