Okay. Thanks for the reply. This is obviously something I am not familiar with. Will need to educate myself with some online vids.

It's the OEM fuel door. I just vinyl wrapped it matte black.

:D Your fuel door looks great. As a recovering perfectionist, I'da just sprayed it flat black with a rattle can.

Haha that did cross my mind! Luckily I’ve been messing with vinyl here and there so I thought I’d give it a go. Turned out pretty good!

Well. Not MY Baja and it was last weekend. Another timing belt and head gasket job. Ive never seen a belt so cracked or gaskets so worn out. The coolant was blacker than the oil. It ran beautiful though. Waiting for him to buy the crossover pipe and a few other things before i start putting it back together next weekend.

Any fitment issues with the tires? About to buy some wheels that have the same size mounted and really don’t want to buy new ones

Yea, I added 1” gorilla strut spaces and had to remove the front inner fenders. I was told they would fit without any modification but it didn’t work. So anyone wanting to with this tire size combo this is what you’ll have to do. I’m going to be adding some one inch wheel spacers also cause there is still a tiny bit of rub but once the tires wear I’m sure it’ll stop.

Saw an article about top mount intakes and decided to give it a try. I have better throttle response but no other performance gains, not that I was expecting any. the sound is deep and loud.
I drove it through a downpour and no water got near the filter through the hood scoop. Very minimal water got into the hood scoop at all it seems.

Just replaced the oil pan, and complete exhaust in the 05 Baja i just bought. Had a y-pipe and cats i saved from a donor car thankfully. I used a 2002 Outback midpipe. It fits perfect and is $60 cheaper than what the same place wanted for the Baja midpipe. Replaced the alternator. Charged the AC. Not bad for 5 hours work.

I installed some new headlights. The old ones were pretty cloudy. New ones have Some black accents. Not sure how it would look without the vinyl front end guard, but I like it like this

The head on photo is the after shot. The other is from a few months back.
