This fix was so easy, took less than 2 minutes. I just bought my Baja and drove it from Santa Fe New Mexico to Springfield Mo. And the wind was really annoying. I"m so happy I found this thread. Thank you for posting it!

Just bought a 2003 Baja Manual NA, and it had a tremendous amount of wind noise. I performed this fix, and now it has no wind noise. Noice.

Kudos to OP as well. mine had a lot of wind noise, a squeeze later, almost no noise. Awesome.
