I'll tell you what my friend. These are some great photos and they're exactly are what I was looking for and looking at all of them is answering a lot of the questions that I had but I have some other questions that the photos can't answer.

First off, what's you name? I'm Ron

The first 10 photos show the horizontal surface of the rail with the oval cut out for the plastic "boot" that wraps around the bottom end of the roll bar.
Then you have some pics showing the "Hinge Pocket" (where the hinge assembly attaches to", a bolt and the small "Front Half Mounting Bracket. There is another piece called the "Frame Cross Member" which you don't show in your photos.
Your last 3 photos show the vertical surface of the rail.
What I need to know is this. When the rail is bolted into place on the inside of the bed, is the vertical surface of the rail right up against the inside vertical surface of the bed or is there a small space between them?
The inside vertical surface of the bed, just below the bottom of the roll bar, has that rounded and tapered area that bulges out from the flat surface so I have been assuming that the vertical surface of the rail can't possibly sit flat against the in side of the bed.
If there is a space or gap between the vertical surface of the rail and the inside vertical surface of the bed, is there any other part that supports the rail and keeps it from being pushed into the bed or is the metal thick enough to prevent that?
I'll have some more questions later but I'll start with these for now.
Damn, those are good pictures. You took all of them looking straight on with the camera rather than at an angle which is important... especially the ones with the ruler in the photos for scale. Now I see that there's a good chance I'll be able to install the cover if I can get all the dimensions that are important but this is a good start.
I managed to get the installation instructions from SnugTop as a PDF file but that was the only information that they had. They couldn't tell me anything else about this specific model. They said they had no other information about it.
I attached some drawings and photos from the install instructions. I tried to attach the whole PDF file but this web sight doesn't allow it for some reason.
I'll need a bunch of measurements but I'll ask you about those after you answer the other questions above.
BTW, I think I might be getting close to locating a source for the large rubber seals that fit around the base of the roll bars. Are you looking for those?

Hello again,
Were you able to answer my other questions? I need a bunch of other measurements but I would need you to answer those questions first.
Also, if I find a source for the 4 Rubber Roll Bar Seals, are you interested?

Yes! You can order it from Discount Camper Store
It's called a SnugLid Hinge Pocket
Call 562-436-1303 and order it by phone.
They have a flat rate shipping special of $6.00 for any order. Just remind them of that when you order.

Maybe you can help me as well!
I need some accurate measurements for the Baja SnugLid mounting rail which I'm fabricating myself.
I'll be doing it soon and I'll contact you then.
Good Luck with the Hinge Pocket.

Hi again,
I'm hoping that you're still willing to help me get some measurements because I have no other way of getting them.
I've already managed to rebuild the front half of the SnugLid. The old embedded mounting bolts were stripped and bent and rusted out. I welded new bolts onto small metal plates and embedded them into the underside of the front half with fiberglass and resin and it came out pretty well.
For the front half of the lid, I fabricated a new Mounting Bracket assembly and installed it on the lid. Now I have to fabricate the two mounting rails.
I've attached a photo and a drawing to go along with the instructions for getting the measurements.

These are the first set of measurements that I'll need to fabricate the two metal rails accurately. After these, I'll need just a few other measurements but I don't want to throw them at you all at once.
Accuracy is very important so the lid will fit perfectly and because I'm having the rails made by a local metal shop and it would be expensive for me to have them made twice if there's a mistake in the measurements. Measure to an accuracy of 1/32" if you have to.

ALL measurements are from center point to center point of the studs or holes and NOT the distance between the studs or holes.

1) Before doing anything else, verify that G, the Width of the Rail, is the same along the whole length of the rail. If it isn't, don't go any further. Let me know and we'll have to get some different measurements.

2) For A you should use a square positioned along the bottom of the rail so the vertical edge runs through the center point of the REAR MBH and measure horizontally from the vertical edge of the square across to the center point of the left Hinge Pocket stud.
For B you should use a square positioned along the bottom of the rail so the vertical edge runs through the center point of the CENTER MBH and measure horizontally from the vertical edge of the square across to the center point of the left FRAME CROSS MEMBER hole.

3) For C measure from center point to center point of the two FRAME CROSS MEMBER bolt holes.

4) See instructions in bottom right corner of drawing for measurements D, E and F.

5) H = Measurement from center point to center point of the 2 Hinge Pocket studs.

5) J and K should be easy!
