Pushbar and side bar options

Post by brat007 »

I happen to have a performance shop here in Tucson and know alot of
manufacturers who build off road truck parts.
Im considering making a run of push bars and or side bars. I can buy universal
premade pushbars and then having correct brackets made so they are an easy
bolt on for our Bajas, and for side nerf bars, I have a few ideas on those too.
Material and finishes we should have a few options too.
I can post pics of ideas in mind or feel free to post pics of what you guys like.
The popular ones (and affordable ones) will hopefully be available by Summer

That little bar looks good....But if I put something on mine I will be really using it.....I want one with a winch mount that I can actually pull with

And I like the idea of the frame slider type side bars rather than the nerf bars....But of course that's just my opinion

Me personally, I would like to retain my factory bumper but have something that is very functional, Something that could protect the from end and still mount a small winch to it......Those side bars look great but once again I go for function over looks....Would have to actually be strong enough to protect the vehicle and even be a jack point....But I love where your going with it....

any pushbar we'd offer would work with the factory
plastic front bumper with no mods required. Also it would be useful
for actual protection, driving light install and possible something like
knocking brush or small trees down :)

Ive never seen a side bar for any vehicle that mounts to a jacking point
Most bolt to body/frame mounts. The best jacking points are the frame
of course or front or rear diff housings of course.

I’d be very interested in a push bar that can mount a light winch.

+1 for me ... I was thinking along the same lines of retaining factory bumper but yet have a functional push bar that can mount a winch.

I'd absolutely be interested in a small, factory-compatible pushbar, especially if it came in chrome to match the "sport bars" over the bed.
