Do you think adding this into the mix would be too much for the steering components?

I thought I read the recommended max is 1.5" to 1.75" of lift before things start wearing out faster... It'll likely work, but my guess is it'll accelerate CV joint wear. I haven't done it, so can't say for sure. Maybe a few others on here can give more insight.

Shouldn't bother steering parts much at all, ball joints and alignment maybe. As stated, many people do more than 1" without problems. That being said, make sure everything IS in good shape before you start. If you already have worn parts, that'll just finish them off.w.rohr wrote:Do you think adding this into the mix would be too much for the steering components?

Re: Upgrading suspension on 2003 NA
Hi All
Read through much of this and upgraded my suspension on my '03 Baja, 228k miles. Stiffer springs and Kyb struts at each corner. I also replaced rear forward control arm bushings, front - rear control arm bushings on driver side and the front sway bar links, all others are or appear good. However, the car seems to sway more than before, certainly being 1 inch higher wont help. Anyone have a similar issue, thoughts?
