Led's for Gauges for White gauges.

I have found the LED thread for the gauge cluster...I've got a couple that have burned out and wanted to go with led's that make the gauge cluster white vs. the stock green.

I have read that replacing the bulbs with white led's will yield Blue gauges? Can someone confirm before I order if there's a way to get white?

Someone recently managed to get the puke green film off chemically...can't remember where I saw it. But yeah, you'll have the same ugly color with white leds.

Back when I was driving a '98 Forester the green tint came from a "plastic" film applied over the bulbs. That's probably why the dealer charged something like $4/ bulb while plain un-tinted bulbs were 2 for $1.50.
