Just wanted to show off a little progress with my Baja!
So here is my 03 with a 2" lift by Anderson Design & Fabrication and about 29" Yokohama Geolandars. Basket up top was picked off a grand Cherokee and fits super nice. Eventually I'll add lights and other goodies, but I'm taking my time to get it right the first time (hopefully).

Good progress! Mine was halted because of a suspension/steering problem ugh. Keep it up!

How did they go about doing the lift on the baja?

Starr, it's a 2" perch that the strut attaches to. It's already set just slightly angled so that it doesn't mess up the camber of the wheels. Although as suggested with any lift, I did go have it aligned.

That is about how the truck should have come from Subaru, closer to the STX prototype, and with dual range. Did you do any fenderwell trimming/mods? I need to get around to posting mine sometime....

Acro, not yet, but I need to. The rubbing hasn't bothered me too much and only happens when 100% turned in out out. And I'd really like to space the wheel out a tad for a more aggressive stance and wider base. That'd help a lot with rubbing but I thought I read somewhere that spacers don't mesh well with subarus.

Mostly from people who have never used them and who are repeating what they heard. Spacers just for the sake of spacers is not a good idea, but they can be an effective tool when used correctly. I have 5 in lift base and can dial in another 1.5 in, and I can promise you that the 20mm spacers I run made a world of difference in handling and tire clearance. I drove the car without them, installed them and observed the actual difference. There are two types for our vehicles, the ones that bolt on and the ones that slip on over longer studs. Both work and for ease of install I would suggest the longer stud types in the front (room for them to slip in behind the hub) and the bolt on type in the rear. A note though, if you use the bolt on type prepare to buy slightly shorter studs to replace the originals, unless your wheels (and mine did not) have those little pockets between the stud holes your wheel won't fit flush. No biggie just use slightly shorter studs.
Almost forgot, the thing to be wary about, if your tires are close, is the seam that runs along the back of the wheel well, you can pound it flat to gain about 3/4 inch and so it won't threaten your tire at full travel. I posted some pics of the wheel well on page 2; viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2973

Can you link me to the spacers with the longer bolts?
