Hey folks!
I have a 2004 NA Baja. A skid plate and rear differential plate may be coming into my possession very soon. The catch? They are coming off of a 2002 Impreza. My question is - will the skid plates off the 2002 Impreza fit my 2004 Baja?
I would greatly appreciate some help here, before I make the investment. In addition, are there any makes and years that are closest to the Baja, where parts are basically interchangeable?
Thank you so much for the help!

Re: Skid plate possibilities
My understanding is, the front half is nearly identical to the Outback, so those parts should be interchangeable. I'm not sure about the Impreza... There was a thread about a limited run skid plate manufactured by Gorilla Offroad years ago... maybe the representative from them (I think his name is Derek) would be able to tell you.

Quite sure the impreza skid plate will not bolt right up. Not sure about the differential plate.

Re: Skid plate possibilities
Well folks, I am still buying it - the deal was too good to pass up. Worst come to worst, a bit of cutting, filing, and drilling will hopefully make it fit.
I pick it up tomorrow evening, so we will see Saturday morning. Maybe ill post up some pictures, and we'll see what happens.

Re: Skid plate possibilities
Welp, the plates do not fit. I need to modify them, cut and grind, and punch out some new holes for mounts. Too much of a process for this busy college student, so I have not gotten around to them. Hope I get to them before winter, so Ice chunks dont destroy my under side up here in Maine!

That's disappointing. Post some pics when you get around to doing it, if you can. Good luck on exams next month!
