Stock Aux Power plug in back seat not working

Post by DoubleD »

Anybody know how to troubleshoot the Axillary Power plug (looks just like a cigarette lighter plug) that is accessible to the back seat passengers

I looked in the manual to see if there was a fuse for it but I could not find that it had one.

All powered items seem to work so I'm not sure where or what fuse to look for. I spot checked a few but didn't find a blown one yet.

Any info is appreciated

The fuse does a lot of other stuff...but it is one of the ones under the dash.

I don't think so - Its not the lighter in the front of the car its in the back

I found this tread on another forum that may explain it - I'm looking into it

My 03 doesn't have a socket in the back so i can't check. But some Subaru cig lighter sockets have a fusible link built into the socket. Pull the socket out, you probably have voltage up to the socket.

That's what I read in the other forum - I will look at this weekend
