The off topic Rizzo Queston Thread.

I use Pennzoil 5-20 High Mileage.

But I bought the car with 228 on it, So I'm just shy of 10K miles of ownership.

The previous owner seems to have followed the Subaru Bible to the letter. The carfax and records show LOTS of dealer services, heck I even got it with a set of the OE Potenzas on it. So I would assume that used what the dealer uses for engine oil.

Side note. When I get the car and still to this day, If the fluids in this car were non toxic I would drink them they're all so clean looking. Even the clutch fluid. They took great care of it.

Congrats! Always nice to see a car well taken care of. And there are a limited number of our Baja brethren out there...

First of all, thanks for answering my oil question. But yeah there is a very small amount of Baja enthusiasts out there. And in SE MI, land of domestic auto manufacturers, even less. Although it seems like since they have hit the used market I have seen a lot more of them. It's a shame, I was just remarking to my wife tonight as we were driving home in 17 degree temps how well built and solid the baja was even as mine approaches 122k on the clock.

Good maintenance is cheap insurance against many future problems. Every year I flush and change ALL fluids to include, brake, clutch, coolant, oil, tranny oil, diff oil etc. no matter how much or how little I drive the car. It is a bit excessive but on many of the fluids time is more of an issue than mileage and keeping all the detergents and additives fresh goes a long way to eliminating sludge, corrosion due to moisture, etc.
