I'm crafty, I can make my own hindgeable locking bed cover out of two pieces of plywood, cover it with quilt batting and vinyl but the shape of the bed and chrome bars makes getting the shape tricky. I know a few years ago I tried making one and ruined a good piece of plywood.
I was wondering if anyone has made their own? Do you have a template of the pattern?
One thought was to lay the plywood over the bed, get in and have someone shut the tailgate and trace around the edges with a marker or something to get the shape right. The front piece would have to be freehanded and cut prior around the bars.
Any other thoughts?
