Just out of curiosity, I see a lot of Baja owners have the tonneau covers but I wonder if any of the others that run an open bed would like any of the concepts made by Wilco in their TireGate product line. http://www.tiregate.com/prerunner_0.shtml
Not my cup of tea;) I'd be intrested in the following though:
1) A rear bumper to match the bull bar with 2" rear reciever, skid plate (with access to spare tire), and hidden rear winch.
2) A mountable tilt ramp for a 300+ lbs. motorcycle capable locking down to the bed and holding the bike in place for travel.
3) A rear bed lumber rack that matches the height of my roof cargo rack. Or even better one that matches the roof rack height and could mount another cargo rack to. It would be cool if the A.R.E. truck cap that I don't have yet could fit under it.
I have the Ozz Bro lockable padded bed cover, so that wouldn't be for me. Maybe a rear bumper with some options. I believe mudrat makes a bumper that leaves the outside plastic trim pieces intact that looks truckish

Buck
+1 for this.
I was planning on working on this my own this spring. But if it gets done before at a reasonable price I'll be in.
I'm not sure how it would work but I have a full size motorcycle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_RC51) and would be interested in the possibility of being able to load it into the Baja. The problem is that the wheelbase is longer than what the bed plus the tailgate can provide so my thought would be to have a ramp that you could roll the bike onto and then rotate and lock into the bed. It would probably extend out the back and look like crap but who knows. The prior comment about nerf bars might be interesting too.
2005 Subaru Baja Turbo 5 Sp. Good luck finding one of these. This is only one vehicle in a weird collection... all of which are ready to go!
