Got rid of a 98 Cherokee that I'd had for about 6 years.

It had 93k miles on it, and though the powertrain was good, lots of little niggling crap was starting to break and it was pissing me off.

I'm hoping the Baja is going to be a record for me when it comes to holding onto it.

I've always had a bit of automotive A.D.D...

I traded a 1987 Chevy K1500 Z-71 extended cab with the third door. This truck was lifted and has 33s on it. The tires were about 4 months. Here is the old beast when I was out having way to much fun.

I sold my 1998 Chevy Half Ton, 4.3L V6, Five speed, Sportside for my 03 Automatic (Pre sport Model). I couldn't stand the heavy clutch in stop and go traffic. Plus it was a 5 year old chevy - which means I was getting to the point were I was begining to play russian roulette. Sold it before it became an issue.

I traded my Blue 2005 WRX STI in for my 2004 Blue Baja sport. I have to say, I will miss the STI, but I couldn't find a better vehicle to haul around my 2 kids, strollers, etc. then my Baja.

I retired my 83 VW Rabbit Pick-Up truck as I wanted something that would haul 4 passengers and pull my motorcycle trailer and still get better gas milage than most trucks and other behemoths out on the road and have a decent handling charachteristic and road manner...

I traded in my silver '97 Subaru Legacy. It was still running great but I've always wanted a Baja. My parents actually spotted the Baja when they were car browsing. They told me about it and I drove by and bought it! Well...after the test drive. hehe

I traded in an Audi TT roadster and a Honda Element for the Subie. Didn't want just a truck, didn't want to give up the sports car drive, but also didn't need to be making two payments. The Baja offered a pretty decent compromise, and I haven't regretted it.

If only it were a convertible. Then it'd be perfect.

I didn't trade, but I sold on my own for $600 the car that dreams are made of (well, nightmares, more likely): a 1993 Light Blue Buick Century Wagon, with 156K on the odometer!

Just this week, I traded my '05 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab Z71 pickup w/14K for my '06 Baja Sport w/19K. My wife and I are both very satisfied with the swap. 8)

I traded in my 2004 civic with 140K miles. I wish they would have offered the two tone colors on the 06 I got. Found one with 7K miles.

Toyota Motor Co. wanted to buy back my 98 Tacoma at a price I couldn't refuse.

Wanted 4 doors, 4wd, and pick-up utility. The Baja fit the bill and had the best MPG to boot.
