Moderator: cliffhanger
Well I traded nothing- But I did decide to sell my 2 other trucks

I also retired my work truck (both till for sale!) a 1998 Dodge Dakota extended Cab 4x4 5.2L V-8 with a 5speed tranny- Leer 700 series Hard cap
Got my 03 Baja for $13,749- Had 49,900 miles on it- also got the dealer to install a tonnaue cover Free- Its Black and silver- 5 speed Sport- with the trailer hitch

Got rid of a 98 Cherokee that I'd had for about 6 years.
It had 93k miles on it, and though the powertrain was good, lots of little niggling crap was starting to break and it was pissing me off.
I'm hoping the Baja is going to be a record for me when it comes to holding onto it.
I've always had a bit of automotive A.D.D...

I sold my 1998 Chevy Half Ton, 4.3L V6, Five speed, Sportside for my 03 Automatic (Pre sport Model). I couldn't stand the heavy clutch in stop and go traffic. Plus it was a 5 year old chevy - which means I was getting to the point were I was begining to play russian roulette. Sold it before it became an issue.

I traded in an Audi TT roadster and a Honda Element for the Subie. Didn't want just a truck, didn't want to give up the sports car drive, but also didn't need to be making two payments. The Baja offered a pretty decent compromise, and I haven't regretted it.
If only it were a convertible. Then it'd be perfect.

I traded in my 2004 civic with 140K miles. I wish they would have offered the two tone colors on the 06 I got. Found one with 7K miles.

Toyota Motor Co. wanted to buy back my 98 Tacoma at a price I couldn't refuse.
Wanted 4 doors, 4wd, and pick-up utility. The Baja fit the bill and had the best MPG to boot.
