Havnt traded yet, but will sell on private market, not trade with the dealer because the car (at the time of trade around december will be an 87 GL wagon with around... 330,000 miles or so, afew dents on the rocker panels (probably more after wheeling it at west coast subaru show 7 this summer) and a reconstructed title. Ya... worth like $100 trade in, but $500-1000 on the private market because its modified to no end.

I traded an '02 VW New Beetle Turbo S. I enjoyed that ride, but it just wasn't practicle for hauling gear and getting where I need to go. I'm in the Army, so I'm always lugging gear to and from work, and often that entails getting somewhere offroad. Now, I'm a proud owner of an '05 Baja Turbo which exceeds any needs/expectations I have.

During the last two weeks of May, I traded in two cars to become a 2 car Subaru Owner. Our 1996 Nissan Maxima with 200k miles was traded for a '02 Subaru Outback Ltd. and my '02 Nissan Frontier S/C Crew Cab for the Baja Turbo. Simply put, it was time for the Maxima.

The Frontier was a different story. I owned it for 10 months and during that time I can't say that I particulary enjoyed it or hated it. The supercharger made it interesting but the automatic transmission kept it from going anywhere in a hurry. The prices of fuel were killing me too, the Frontier S/C got about 15 MPG and required super unleaded.

The Baja was my first choice back when I bought the Frontier, but I *thought* I wouldn't be able to keep make the payments on a new car. Turns out, I was pouring money away in fuel commuting 100 miles a day. So now, I have a huge car payments, but reliable and enjoyable cars!

I still have my two Toyota MR2's but they are both up for sale now too: http://crimsonmkii.net

Well I gave my parents my 97 geo tracker 4 dr to get my graduation present a 2005 blue baja.
The tracker was a real lemon but it got 33 miles to a gallon. So I wont complain

I traded in my '98 Ford Escort SE Sport. I really didn't think they would actually take it though. It had 165,000 miles (I put 120,000 on it in the 4 years I owned it). The front end was totally banged up from a couple of wrecks. The ac didn't work. I was excited that they took it. I only miss one thing about that car, the back window. I had a lot of stickers on it, which got a lot of attention.

2001 Explorer Sport Trac with 56000 miles on it. I didn't need a 4x4 in FL (unless I took up wild pig hunting) but AWD is handy in the heavy rain we get. As a trade it wasnt going to be worth any more than it was right then

8) I traded a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 4.7L V8, 5 speed MT, 3.55 LSD. Great truck, but not the best to commute 70 miles a day in as it got terrible mileage. The Baja is a lot more fun to drive and a lot quicker. I did sacrifice a little bit of space and 4 wheeling ability, but am very happy with my '06 Baja Turbo.
