Rattling when cold
I've been having this rattling, not very loud, when engine is cold, just after start up & while moving. (i have had someone tell me it might be heat shield on c. converter) but it sounds like something under the front half driver's side. I did tell mechanic about it, but it was quiet because the engine had warmed up. Anyone else have this rattle when cold / goes away after warm up?

I get the same thing. Likely just the heat shields on the exhaust. I've been over the undercarriage on the lift nothing loose so I just let that slide.

Re: Rattling when cold
I have a 2006 Turbo, when cold I get a type of a rattle from the driver side of the vehicle.
I have looked for anything loose and found nothing. I once read someone saying that if an oil intake screen gets clogged with sludge it could lead to oiling issues causing that rattle sound. I think I have traced my noise to the driver side cam cover. I may be dealing with a sludge filled screen.
