Here's my crack at the FM Modulator Install

Post by Atomic Baja »

I got this done this weekend. I'd consider this a six-pack job although next time I try this I might wait to have the six-pack until AFTER I'm done!

Jaxed guide was really great; Thanks Jaxed!

I'd like to ad that to get the large bezel out, you need to get two screws out holding the ash-tray rails up. Also, once the bezel is out, I'd recommend taping the gap between the carpet and the metal directly underneath where you loosen screws holding the stereo and hvac stuff. Clumsy me lost two screws!

I routed the stereo jack cable through the side of the tray. When I'm not using my WMA player, the cable tucks nicely back into the tray pretty much out of sight.

I'm pleased with the sound; the FM transmitters really stink. The only thing I've noticed is that music played through my WMA player does not seem to have the same "punch" as music played through the CD player.
