Baja trailer

Post by jaxed »

How would one go bout finding a wrecked Baja (front end) and purchase it? Specifically, wouldn't it be neat to have a Baja trailer? Just the bed of a Baja slapped on a frame, to tow. Certainly, it would be useless for hauling, but it sure would look cool!

If I could only weld. You'd need a P.U. frame, perhaps chop a Chevy frame and stick the Baja bed on it. You'd want matching wheels too.

Anybody care to photoshop?

The idea is nice.... but.... since teh wheels are so far to the front, the load wouldnt be balanced. It would have too much tongue weight I think. Personally I think a brat trailer to tow behind a brat would make more sense since the wheels were in the middle of the brat bed. I suppose you could make the baja bed a little longer if you were good with metal (and plastic) by extending it forward.
